The Code is Open Doors' foundational mentorship program for young adults — and it's where every journey begins.Over twelve weeks, participants in this paid mentorship program develop the identity, character, financial foundation, and career clarity they need to move forward with intention. This isn't a program that tells you what to be. It's the one that helps you figure out who you already are — and builds a plan around that.

Once you know who you are, it's time to build what you do. The Craft is Open Doors' workforce and career development program — where participants turn direction into skill and skill into income.
Through trades training, technology education, professional licensing pathways, and entrepreneurship development, The Craft takes what The Code started and puts it to work. Programs include:

The Cornerstone is the housing and community development arm of Open Doors — where participants don't just find a place to live, they become homeowners and community builders. Through affordable housing development, financial literacy, real estate education, and our growing land bank, we are building the infrastructure for generational wealth — neighborhood by neighborhood.
Families in our communities have been renting the same neighborhoods for generations. The Cornerstone exists because ownership was always supposed to be the next chapter — it just needed a real pathway to get there.
We are currently identifying properties and securing land across multiple markets. A residential campus model — where participants can live, train, and build alongside one another — is in active development. The Cornerstone isn't a dream. It's a blueprint already in progress.
Every person who walks through our doors follows the same connected path. You don't skip steps here — you build on them. Each phase prepares you for the next, and the next one opens doors you didn't know existed.
A Note for Veterans:
Affordable, stable housing is one of the greatest unmet needs for veterans transitioning out of service. The Cornerstone's housing development pipeline includes veteran-specific housing as a core priority — not an afterthought. We are actively developing properties and partnerships to ensure that those who served have a real pathway to homeownership and community stability.
